NOVEMBER 8   

I DEMONSTRATE THROUGH THE PERFECT LAW

And as He thinketh all things manifest, He manifests through all things and in all, and most of all in whatsoever things He wills to manifest.

Thrice-Greatest Hermes

All laws are laws of God.  Whatever Reality is, Its nature is One.  If I wish to demonstrate my good I must faithfully and fervently declare that the Law of the Lord is perfect and that this Law is operating in my experience now.  I believe that it is the nature of thought to externalize itself, to bring about conditions which exactly correspond to the thought. Therefore, I turn resolutely from every sense of lack, want and limitation, and declare the perfect Law, knowing that even though I am dealing with an invisible Principle it will be made manifest in my experience.

Therefore, today I declare that the Law of the Lord is perfect in everything I do.  It will externalize happiness; it will bring every good thing to me.  Today I am inwardly aware that there is a secret way of the soul, there is a secret pathway of peace, there is an invisible Presence forever externalizing itself for me and through me.  Today I believe in Divine Guidance.  Today I believe that underneath are the everlasting arms.  Today I rest in this divine assurance and this divine security.  I know that not only all is well with my soul, my spirit and my mind; all is well with my affairs.   

I sincerely believe that there is a Divine Presence and a Law of Good which attracts every person and everything to me, that belongs to me, and which, flowing through me, reaches out to everything in my life with love, with consideration, in joy and gladness.

NOVEMBER 4   

TODAY I MEDITATE UPON MY DIVINE INHERITANCE

Every state of happiness that appears in the body or the mind is said to be due to the quality of Goodness.

The Mahabharata

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God.”  The kingdom of God is at hand.  I inherit everything that belongs to this kingdom.  The riches and the power and the glory of this kingdom are mine now.  I do not rob anyone by entering into the fullness of the kingdom of power, of joy and of abundance.  I recognize that everyone inherits the same kingdom.  There is no law of human heredity imposed upon me. Evil has no history.  Limitation has no past.  That which is opposed to good, has no future.  The eternal now is filled with perfection.  I always have been and always shall remain a complete, perfect and whole expression of the Eternal Mind, which is God, the Living Spirit Almighty.

All that the Father hath is mine.  I am now entering into the Kingdom of Good which love has prepared for me.  I am letting go of all the cares and fears of yesterday.  I am looking forward to tomorrow in quiet confidence and with joyful expectation.  And I am living today in the glorious fulfillment of the law of good.

Today I enter into the limitless variations which the Divine Spirit has projected into my experience.  I know that all things are good when rightly used.  I perceive that all experience is a play of Life upon itself.  I enter into the game of living, then, with joyful anticipation, with spontaneous enthusiasm and with the determination to play the game well and to enjoy it.  Today I enter into my Divine inheritance.  I have freed my thought from the belief that external conditions are imposed upon me by birth, through inherited tendencies or race belief.  I proclaim the freedom of my Divine sonship.  I possess the kingdom of God today, in all of its fullness.

NOVEMBER 3   

I OVERCOME HATE WITH LOVE   

Therefore it is clear that Ignorance can only be removed by wisdom.

Raja Yoga Philosophy

I know that there is but One Power in the universe, and that Power is God.  That Power manifests in and through all form, all people, all conditions, and so is at the very center of my being.  This Power is Life itself, and Its nature is Love – All-Good.  I know that just as light dissipates darkness, just as heat warms the atmosphere, so a consciousness of good overcomes the negation of evil (hate), dissipates it, obliterates it, blots it out.

I refuse to think of hate or any negation as a power and I know that it will flee from me. Its dissolution is its flight – it disappears.  Hate cannot exist where love is recognized and knowing that good alone is real, I turn the searchlight of Eternal Truth upon every so-called evil in my experience, and these dark places of imagination are instantly dissolved into light.  The dissolution of evil is complete; the manifestation of good is perfect.  I know that Love protects Its own, and now makes it clear the way before me, eliminating everything that looked like hate.  I am guided into an ever-widening unfoldment of being, and my every thought, feeling and act is an expression of the God Nature – Love – through me. Continuously I overcome hate with love.

So I give back into the great and divine Presence that which it has given to me, knowing that the gift will again be returned, but multiplied.  So shall peace and joy come as a light from heaven, and in that light I walk.

NOVEMBER 2   

THE INFINITE LAW OF GOOD BRINGS ME COMPLETE SATISFACTION

Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Proverbs 3:10

There is a Power operating through me, a Presence inspiring, guiding and sustaining me.  Upon this Power, I place my reliance.  In this Presence, I feel myself to be an outlet of immeasurable good.  Because I am in this Divine Presence, and because It is in me, and because this Divine has all power, I know that my thought is made manifest in a perfect demonstration of health, of harmony and of success.

I know that the Creative Law of Good is infinite and has all power to accomplish.  I know Its whole desire for me is freedom and joy.  Therefore, I declare that freedom and joy are mine today.  This freedom and joy spontaneously express in my experience, and there is nothing within me that can hinder this expression.  Because this All-Good is mine, and because it constitutes the only Presence there is in the universe, I know that freedom and joy cannot be separated from me.

Realizing that the kingdom of love is at hand today, I enter into this kingdom with a song of praise, a hymn of joy.  Knowing that God is hid in everything, I reveal this Divine Presence to myself and to others, in sympathy, in love, in kindness.

I am conscious that there is an Infinite Wisdom directing me.  Whatever I should know, I shall know.  Whatever I should do, I shall do.  Whatever belongs to me must come to me.  Because of the Infinite Intelligence which is mine and which is within me now, I am compelled to recognize my good; to see more; to understand and accept and express more.  I know the Infinite Law of Good is always bringing complete satisfaction into my life.

NOVEMBER 1   

I DWELL IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD

In my father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.

John 14:2

The Household of God is the Household of Perfection.  It is the Secret Place of the Most High.  The inmates of this Household are all Divine Beings.  Nothing can enter the consciousness of any of these inmates which contradicts the unity of Good.  Each and every member of this Household is at peace with all other members.  There is a community of peace, of understanding, of fellowship, of love and unity. 

In this Household of God – which is any man’s household who declares to be such – there is no bickering, no jealousy, and no avenue through which any littleness or meanness may operate.  It is not only a household of peace, it is a household of joy, it is a place of happiness and general contentment.  Here is warmth, color and beauty.  This earthly household symbolizes the Divine Harmony of the Kingdom of God.

No one is a stranger within this household.  Nothing is alien to it.  It is protected from all fear, from every sense of loss.  Nothing can enter it but joy, integrity and friendship.  The same good I realize belongs to everyone else.  I do not desire a good for myself which is greater than the good I desire for all people.  Neither do I deny myself the good I affirm for all others.  In this Household, the Host is God, the Living Spirit Almighty, and all who dwell in this Household are guests of the Eternal Host.

OCTOBER 24   

TODAY, MY WORLD IS GOD’S WORLD, AND ALL IS WELL

The Lord reigneth. Let the earth rejoice; let the multitudes of isles be glad thereof. 

Psalm 97: 1

Our mental attitudes are our most priceless possessions.  No material security is actually secure, but the deep issues of our thought can make or unmake us.  Like the Psalmist of old, we should realize that our world is of God, therefore its essential nature must be good.  That which seemly opposes us in the world can be overcome and dissolved by right thinking, if our motives are right.  This universe is our field of opportunities.  It is the great laboratory in which he who knows the power of mind can work miracles.  It says unto us that we can have and become whatever we desire, providing we can establish great ideas within our subjective areas of consciousness.  To look out upon our world and expect only good from it is true spiritual living.  Then, security is assured for our own right mental attitudes will produce it.  The Intelligence that created us requires our co-operation with the laws of right thinking based on right motives.

I behold my world today as the expression of God’s Intelligence.  Everywhere I walk this day, I walk in the presence of Good.  Everyone I meet today, in business or at home, is the incarnation of Spirit.  I joyously co-operate with the good in every man.  I look out upon my world as God does and call it good.  I expect today to be a day of fulfillment.  I dedicate my thoughts to God’s Ideas and walk through His world seeing only that which is perfect, loving and beautiful.  The Glory of God fills my world and all the people in it.  I rejoice in this day, for in it shall I find more of Truth than I have ever known before.

OCTOBER 23 

WITHIN ME THE SPIRIT IS ALIVE AND VITAL

Thou gavest also thy good Spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst. 

Nehemiah 9:20  

This is a universe of activity and vitality, and if we would live in it effectually, we must be actively and vitally alive.  The Mind that created and sustained the universe must have as its essential nature vitality and activity.  We are Sons of God, the expressions of the Creative Mind, and our inheritance is the capacity to express life with a punch, a zest and a joy.  To do this we must be aware of our inner Divine Potential and through co-operation with it, let it act through us.  Thus, we pray and treat to know that God is the energy, vitality and essence of our lives.  From a center within ourselves there springs forth all that we need to live in creative ways and be a blessing to the world.  The followers of Jesus were given by him a strong message to be vital and definite partners with life.  Christianity must develop a mass of right-thinking people who demonstrate this energy of Spirit in creative ways.

Within me is a part of God, it is my own true self.  This inner spirit releases through me the energy, vitality and joy of the Lord.  My whole body is now filled with God’s vitality.  I am not fatigued this day, for God’s energy, working in every cell of my body, renews and maintains me in complete perfection.  I am alive and vital for God’s Ideas fill my consciousness.  New creative channels open for me this day in my business and family life.  I look forward to new ways of service, new ways of expressing love.  I dedicate all that I am to being vitally alive with the life of God.  I shall be a blessing to all who contact me this day.

OCTOBER 22  

FREELY AND JOYOUSLY I LET RIGHT ACTION TAKE PLACE IN MY LIFE

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

Romans 15:13

The Law of Life is a law of co-operation with all that is fine and true. Believing that Life is God in action, we must accept its processes with a firm conviction that in the long run all things will work together for good.  Resistance brings contraction; co-operation brings expansion.  God’s mind is already in perfect action.  We cannot start Its working for us, for It is already trying to bring forth good by means of us.  However, It does require that we accept Its methods, Its Ideas and Its Plans.  Today, the Infinite has arranged more good for each of us than our finite thinking can comprehend.  With Joy we open our whole body of consciousness to the Divine inflow.  We expect this Spiritual Presence to be in us as an accomplishing power for demonstration.  Nothing can prevent the Truth from appearing in our world, for Omnipotence itself is in action at every instant.

Freely and joyously I let right action take place in my life.  I know that God’s Mind is thinking through me at this moment, and greater results than I have ever dreamed are now appearing.  There is nothing in my thought to block the action of God.  I am willing to let my little thoughts go, knowing that the great thoughts of Being guide me into paths of pleasantness and ways of peace.  I accept without reservation the abundance that my Father has for me today.  Every hour brings me the fulfillment of all my needs and desires.  I believe in God.  I love God.  I have faith in God’s processes.  I live in the Joy and the Right Action of Spirit.

OCTOBER 21    

DIVINE PROSPERITY IS WORKING IN ALL MY AFFAIRS

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasure. 

Job 36:11

Prosperity is the result of a mental atmosphere of faith and order induced within us through right thinking.  We should believe that the universe is planned for abundance, and that we as a living part of the Universal Intelligence have a share in the general riches.  Lack of supply to meet our needs is an indication of lack of spiritual development.  The more we understand ourselves as spiritual beings living in a spiritual universe the more that supply flows to us easily and naturally.  The disciplined mind can demonstrate prosperity, for it has provided the orderly channels necessary for it.  A disorderly mind usually has financial troubles as a result of its scattered thinking. We know that man’s mind is God’s mind in action, and we know that the Divine Mind is always orderly in its processes.  Jesus stated that as “first the blade, and then the ear, and then the full corn on the ear.” He knew that we have to provide a mental atmosphere of order and harmony in which the living ideas can grow. 

I live in a world that is filled with God’s abundance, and I now claim this as my  own.  The riches of the universe are open to me, and I partake of them in wisdom and joy.  All my affairs are under the law of prosperity.  Increased good flows to me from all directions and through all people.  There is no lack in my consciousness, for God’s ideas fill my thought and all is richness and opulence.  I am orderly in all my ways.  I am loving, kind and gracious.  I speak this day in terms of abundance.  I expect increased prosperity to take place in my world, for I know that God’s activity is alive in my affairs.  I now give thanks that the riches of God are mine to use and to enjoy in right ways.

OCTOBER 20

THIS IS A HAPPY WORLD AND I AM JOYOUS IN IT

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine; but a broken spirit drieth the bones. 

Proverbs 17: 22

It is sometimes difficult for people to believe that God want us to be happy.  We have been taught that to be spiritually minded usually meant to be burden-minded.  This incorrect idea is fast disappearing, for which we can give thanks.  There is no reason why any of us who will live rightly and love greatly cannot be happy right here.  The Mind which created us gave us the ability to laugh and smile.  These are healthy mental states.  They relax us and give us peace. We like people who are gay and light, as long as we know their motives are right.  We want to be like them, and the Bible states that we should be.  We need to accept the fact that the universe is planned for creative joy, and that we possess the ability to be happy in it.  God wants us to be happy people, and His Mind has given us the capacity to know joy and to express joy.  As we do this we fulfill our inheritance.

My world is filled with the joy of Spirit, and I see happiness everywhere.  Today, I express the joy of the Lord.  I refuse to be discouraged and unhappy, for I know these states of mind are not of God.  I have a God of joy and good cheer.  I have a God who created me to smile and laugh and be lighthearted as I do my work.  I am determined to have a song in my heart and a smile on my face.  Everyone I meet senses this inner happiness which God has placed within me.  They respond to it and are blessed by their contact with it.  Divine Love made this world a happy place to be filled with joyous souls rejoicing in good.  I am loving, joyous and free.  I respond to the Joy of the Spirit in all and through all.
