SEPTEMBER 10

DIVINE CIRCULATION ANIMATES MY BEING

There is no end or beginning to the Tao.

Kwang – Tze

The Chinese sage said that Tao (meaning Spirit) “Produces everything, nourishes everything, and maintains everything.”  It flows through and is in all things, being all that is.  There is nothing outside it.  There is a spiritual Presence pervading the universe, welling up in your consciousness, always proclaiming Itself to be the source of your being.  The enlightened ones of the ages have told you that your recognition of Life is God within you recognizing Himself in everything you do.  Say:

I know there is one Mind, one Spirit, and one Body – the Mind, the Spirit and the Body of God – the Universal Wholeness, the ever-present Good, the all-sustaining Life.

Every organ, every function, every action and reaction of my body is in harmony with the divine creative – Spirit.

I could not ask for more; greater could not be given.

I now seek to realize the significance of this one Mind and this one Body.

I now become aware that the one Mind is acting through my body in accord with Its own divine perfection, peace and harmony.

The Divine circulates through me automatically, and freely.

Every atom of my being is animated by Its action.

At all times I have a silent, invisible Partner walking with me, talking with me, and operating through me.

I keep my mind open to Its guidance, to Its inspiration and illumination.

SEPTEMBER 9

I EXPERIENCE ABIDING PEACE

Heaven, Earth, and I were produced together, and all things and I are one.

Kwang – Tze

Peace must exist at the center of everything or the universe itself would be a chaos.  You already know this and believe it, now you are going to act upon it.  You are not going to believe in it, you are going to act as though it were true.  There is peace at the center of your being – a peace that can be felt throughout the day and in the cool of the evening when you have turned from your labor and the first star shines in the soft light of the sky. It broods over the earth quietly, tenderly, as a mother watches over her child.  Say:

In this peace that holds me so gently I find strength and protection from all fear or anxiety.

It is the peace of God in which I feel the love of a Holy Presence.

I am so conscious of this love, this protection, that every sense of fear slips away from me as mist fades in the morning light.

I see good in everything, God personified in all people, Life manifest in every event.

Spirit is not separate from persons or events; I see that It unites everything with Itself, vitalizing all with the energy of Its own being, creating everything through Its own divine imagination, surrounding everything with peace and quiet and calm.

I am one with this deep, abiding peace.

I know that all is well.

SEPTEMBER 8

THE PROTECTING POWER OF THE INFINITE SUSTAINS ME

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.

I Peter 1:22

As a child turns to its parents for comfort, so every man is relying on God, whether or not he realizes it.  This concept is so universal that it has been present in every age, with all people, and at all times.  Jesus dared to place his hand serenely in the Hand of the Invisible.  His works justified his words; his faith was manifest through his acts.

Nothing has happened to Reality since this glorified figure walked the highways of human experience.  With equal confidence you should believe in the protecting Presence of the ever-available Spirit.  Today you are to hold your thought steadfast in the realization that God withholds nothing from you.  Therefore, prepare yourself for a life of joy, happiness and well-being.  Say:

I know that the Law of God surrounds me with love and friendship.

I let it radiate in my environment, bless everything I touch, make whole that which is weak, turn fear into faith, and accomplish the miracle of healing through love.

I believe in myself because I believe in God.

I accept life fully, completely, without reservation, holding to the conviction that good is the eternal Reality, that God is the everlasting Presence, that Christ within me is the eternal Guide, that my life is complete today.

SEPTEMBER 7

THE LAW OF GOOD BRINGS ME SATISFACTION

Devotion is God-gnosis; and he who knoweth God, being filled with all good things, thinks godly thoughts.

Thrice-Greatest Hermes

There is a Power operating through, a Presence inspiring, an intelligence guiding, and a Law of Good sustaining you.  Upon this Presence, this Power and this Law you may place complete reliance.  Because you live in this Divine Presence and because It is in you, you may know that the creative Law of Good, which is infinite, and which has all power, can do for you or bring to you, anything and everything necessary to your complete happiness.  Its whole desire for you is one of freedom and joy.  Say:  

I know that freedom and joy are mine today.

This freedom and joy express themselves in my experience.

There is nothing in me that can obstruct their passage.

I permit them to flow through me in all their wonder and might.

I am conscious of an Infinite Wisdom directing me.

Whatever belongs to me will come to me.

My every thought and decision is molded by intelligence and expressed through law and order in my experience.

I not only think upon and realize the meaning of this truth; I am impelled to act upon it intelligently, creatively, without confusion, doubt, or hesitation.

With joy I enter into the fulfillment of life.

SEPTEMBER 6

I LIVE ETERNALLY IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD

The perfect man, along with other men, gets his food from the earth and derives his joy from his Heaven.

Kwang – Tze

You live in the house of God.  The household of God is a household of perfection.  It is “the secret place of the most High” within you and within all.  The inmates of this household all are divine.  They will become as divine to you as you permit.  As you look at them they look at you, for this is the way of life.  Everything responds to you at the level of your recognition of it.

In the household of God there is no jealousy, no littleness or meanness.  It is a household of joy, a place of happiness and contentment.  Here is warmth, color and beauty.  Seen in this light, your earthly house symbolizes the kingdom of Divine Harmony in which no one is a stranger.  Say:

Nothing is alien to me.

Nothing enters into my experience but joy, integrity and friendship.

The good I would realize for myself I realize for all others.

I cannot desire a good for myself other than the good I desire for everyone else.

Neither do I deny myself the good I affirm for others.

I know that in the household in which I live the host is God, the living Spirit Almighty; the guests are all His people; the invitation has been eternally written for all to enter and dwell therein as the guests of this Eternal Host forever.

SEPTEMBER 5

I EXERCISE MY GOD-GIVEN DOMINION

They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.

Psalm 36:8

There is a God Power at the center of every man’s being, a Presence that knows neither, lack, limitation nor fear, sickness, disquiet nor imperfection.  But because everyone is an individual he can build a wall of negative thought between himself and this perfection.  The wall which keeps you from the greater good is built of mental blocks, cemented together by fear and unbelief, mixed in the mortar of negative experience.

Now you are to tear down this wall, to completely destroy it.  The view which this wall obstructed is now seen it all its grandeur.  The sun never really stopped shining and the River of Life forever flows.  Every man’s experience is an attempt to merge his own being with this eternal river, not to the loss of his identity, but to the discovery of that self which has newer wholly left its heaven.  Say:

I know that there is a Presence and a perfect Law irresistibly drawing into my experience everything which makes life happy and worthwhile.

The good that I receive is but the completion of a circle, the fulfillment of my desire for all.

I have placed my reliance in the Power, the Presence and the Perfection of God.

Therefore, I have dominion over all apparent evil.

I repudiate all its claims, cast out ever fear of, or belief in, that which is not good and exercise the dominion which by divine right belongs to me.

SEPTEMBER 4

HIS LAW IS WRITTEN IN MY HEART

The energy of God is Power that naught can e’er surpass, a power with which no one can make comparison of any human thing at all, or any thing divine.”

Since the only life you can have is the Life of the Spirit within you, you need but permit Its radiance to flow through your thought into self-expression.  You are surrounded by a dynamic force, a great surge of living power.  You are immersed in and saturated with the vital essence of Life.  Its presence permeates everything, binding all together in one complete whole.  Say:

Because my whole being is the Life of God in me, I have nothing to fear.

Everyone I meet is part of the same Wholeness in which I live.

Every person I meet is a center of the great unity in which I live.

It is this center of Life that I meet in all persons.

It is this unity in and through all that I respond to.

I cannot wish anyone harm, nor does anyone desire to harm me.

Through my consciousness of love, which is the very essence of goodness, I transform any apparent imperfection into the perfect idea of true being.

I am knowing people as God knows them.

I am seeing everything as God must see it.

His Law is written in my mind and felt in my heart.

I see God everywhere.

SEPTEMBER 3

I SING LIFE’S SONG OF JOY

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication,  with thanksgiving let your requests be known unto God.
Philippians 4:6

You are part of the Universal Mind, one with the Universal Substance.  You live, move and have your being in pure Spirit.  All the wealth, the power and the goodness of this Spirit exist at the center of your being.  You experience this good in such degree as you accept, believe in and feel it.  As you enter into life, feeling the Divine Presence in everything, more and more you will hear a Song of Joy singing at the center of your being.  You have only to be still and listen to this Song of Life, for it is always there.  Say:

Knowing that the Loving Presence is always closer to me than my very own breath, I have nothing to fear.

I feel Its loving protection around me.

I know a Song of Joy, of Love and of Peace is forever chanting its hymn of praise and beauty at the center of my being; therefore, I tune all unhappy and negative ideas out of my mind.

I turn the dial of my thought into the sunshine of life, into brightness and laughter, into the joyous presence of radiant Spirit.

I lay aside all anxiety, all striving, and let the law of Divine Love operate through me into my affairs.

Joyfully I anticipate greater abundance, more success and a deeper peace.

Joy wells up within my mind and Life sings Its song of ecstasy in my heart. 

SEPTEMBER 2

I LIVE FULLY TODAY

Behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Luke 17:21

The wisest man who ever lived said there is a truth which can set you free from fear, want, unhappiness and finally death itself.  He said that this truth is already within you.  Suppose you accept this spiritual wisdom, since the one who gave it was able to prove his claims.  Don’t you think that this great and glorious person was telling you that the kingdom of your good is here today?

Now, this means that evil, no matter what face it wears, or what form it takes, or how many people believe it, is never a thing in itself.  Jesus did not say that evil has no reality as an experience.  He did say that you should not judge according to appearances.  He said that you are to live as though the Kingdom were already yours.  No matter what the negation of yesterday may have been, your affirmations of today may rise triumphant over them.  Cease weeping over the mistakes of yesterday and steadfastly beholding the face of the great and divine Reality, walk in that Light wherein there is no darkness.  Say:

I know that every negative condition of the past is swept aside.

I refuse to see it or to think about it.

Yesterday is no longer here; tomorrow has not yet arrived.

Today is God’s day.

God’s day is my day.

Today, bright with hope and filled with promise, is mine.

I am alive, awake and aware – today.
