FEBRUARY 9   

I MAKE RIGHT DECISIONS FOR THE JUDGMENT OF GOD WITHIN TELLS ME WHAT TO DO AND WHEN TO DO IT   

The Lord is known by the Judgment he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.  Psalm 9:16

People come to the doors of professional consultants with the query “What shall I do about this?”  Apparently, we have lost our own inner resources.  Yet, the Prophets of every faith have told us of the inner capacity, born of God, to set ourselves straight and to know what to do. The quandaries of the human mind are amazing in their complexities, and the wisdom of the Divine Mind is amazing in Its simplicities.  God in the midst of us knows what to do and is seeking to impel us toward right decisions.  Whenever we do not know what to do and when to do it, we turn to that One in the midst of us and affirm Its capacity to give us the clue.  Infinite Wisdom never fails to respond to the receptive mind and the loving heart.  Divine ideas appear in our consciousness and we make right decisions with ease.

Every question in my life has an answer, and every problem has a solution.  I turn in thought from that which seems to be, to that which really is.  Divine Intelligence working in my mind now knows exactly what to do.  I accept this inner guidance, and follow Its instructions.  Every moment of this day I make wise and loving decisions which bless and benefit my fellowman as well as myself.  I judge not by appearances, I know they are often incorrect and false.  I have faith that God’s Mind now decides every issue, selects every right idea, and gives me true accomplishment with ease.  My thought is clear and strong, for God’s ideas are mine today.

FEBRUARY 8   

TODAY I PRAISE THE HEALTH OF GOD IN MY BODY   

I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.  Psalm 9:1

The law of response is the law of praise.  Whatever we bless increases, and whatever we curse decreases.  The key to the use of this law is to watch our ideas and note the ones we are praising.  This is easy to do, as the ideas we talk about the most are the ones we are praising.  Like all laws it is impersonal.  When we constantly discuss disease, we are actually raising its power in our lives, and the law produces further illness and discomfort.  Likewise, when we are not at our best physically, we can praise the health of God in our bodies, and the law will bring forth greater ease, vitality and strength.  Those who are sick need to praise the Health of God within them to be healed.  Those who are in perfect health should praise this same divine Health, as it will then be maintained and made permanent.  Health is a part of our spiritual inheritance and we bless the One Mind for it.

I believe that God is the health of my body.  I recognize this great spiritual Gift in every part of me.  I have faith in Its healing, restoring, refreshing power.  It fills me now with perfect life, energy and strength.  I praise and bless this great inner action of God.  I dedicate myself to the right use of this health.  No fatigue, strain nor illness can touch me this day, for God is my perfect health.  My work is easy, and my body responds to every action necessary to my work today.  All is ease, comfort and joy.  I respond to the health and vitality of my fellowman.  All whom I contact are equally alive with God’s radiant health, for God is the health of His people.

FEBRUARY 7   

I TAKE DOMINION OVER MY WORLD TODAY AND HANDLE IT RIGHTLY  

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet.  Psalm 8:6

Timidity has never been a virtue, and modern psychology has proved that it is a definite indication of a wrong habit pattern in the unconscious.  Many people who never give the impression of being timid, fail to really take dominion over their own thought and organize it into efficient patterns.  As metaphysicians, we know that until we control our thinking, we shall never control the conditions of our environment, business and personal health.  The point of control is always within, and the wise person starts to assume dominion over his disorganized thinking.  This is easier to accomplish when we realize that Spirit within us is urging us in this direction.  God wants us to control ourselves, and not other people.  We are spiritually equipped to do this.

By the power of God in the midst of me, I now take dominion over my own thinking.  I know that peace in my mind means peace in my world.  I recognize that within myself this day the Mind of God is in full control of my every activity. I am poised and centered in God’s eternal peace.  I meet every situation as it arises with confidence, for I have faith that the right idea will emerge out of God’s mind for me to use at every instant.  I refuse to let fear control me, and I joyously let God have dominion in my affairs.  I accept each idea as it comes to me, knowing that God’s ideas answer every question and solve every problem.  I am in control.

FEBRUARY 6   

I AM THE CREATION OF GOD, THEREFORE, I HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR  

What is man, that thou art mindful of him?  And the son of man, that thou visiteth him?  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.  Psalm 8:4,5

There seems to be strange quirks in the human mind.  It has the ability to remember so much that is not good, and to remember so little that is good.  Whenever we look to the past, we almost always remember the great hurts, and fail to recall the great joys and blessings we have once experienced.  Memory, in its true spiritual sense, is the capacity to remember our origin in God and the steady unfoldment of our nature through experience.  It is the ability to know again that we are created by an Infinite Mind and prospered in all our ways by an Infinite Love.  It reminds us of our divine destiny to overcome all evil, and to abide in all that is true and good.  As we do this, all fear is removed from our thought, for there is an inner uprising of faith in ourselves and in our fellowmen.  The Mind that created us sustains us, unfolds our good before us, and leads us in pleasant ways.

Today, there is nothing to fear, for I remember that I am a spiritual being, and nothing can touch me, save that which is good.  No material belief or situation has power over me, for “He that sent me is with me.”  My own divine nature repels and destroys the untruths of negation.  They never have been a part of the real Self which I am.  I have faith in only that which is of good report.  I love God and believe in God.  I recognize the divine idea which I am in the Father’s Mind.  I am the creation of perfect God and I fear nothing, for God is all.

FEBRUARY 5   

THE FATHER IN ME DOETH THE WORK, AND I LET HIS MIND BRING FORTH PERFECT RESULTS   

O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth.  Psalm 8:1

Today we are labor conscious, and it is essential for us to have a correct understanding of the spiritual nature of our work.  Whether this work is in the home or in the commercial world, it is the same.  The spiritual idea behind all work is the individualizing of the universal action of Infinite Mind.  Our jobs, regardless of location or income level, are the places where we individualize the eternal activity of God.  It is that point where we “let” God unfold through us.  Jesus did his mighty works because he was able to let God flow through him.  We are trying to do the same, and this requires a constant reminder to our outer minds that the inner Intelligence, born of God, will work through us as we let It.  The work of the Lord through man is always toward perfection, and that is why the Psalmist praises the excellency of the name of the Lord. This name is Infinite Mind forever unfolding through man.

The unlimited business of God is taking place through me and giving me ease and comfort in my daily work.  God is never fatigued, and His action taking place in me is one of ceaseless energy, vitality and joy.  I rest in the consciousness of God, and know that at every instant I am sustained, directed and prospered by the unlimited action of the indwelling Father.  All resistance to employment is gone; I love to express the creative activity of God in my work this day.  I work with joy, I accomplish with ease, and I fulfill this day with good results.

FEBRUARY 4   

I AM VICTORIOUS OVER ALL DIFFICULTIES FOR I HAVE FAITH IN GOD, THE GOOD, OMNIPOTENT   

The Lord knoweth the way of righteousness; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.  Psalm 1:6

The victorious attitude is the one that recognizes the unlimited power of God.  Without this awareness no one can be victorious over the negatives of life.  Those who live without spiritual vision and understanding are forever trying to solve their problems by manipulating their human minds, and exerting their human wills.  This exhausts them, frustrates them, and gives them no peace.  The recognition of God as Cause, and as the Creative Power of this world brings victory to the soul.  It does this because all problems begin and end within the individual’s own consciousness.  As we realize that God’s Mind is in us as the basis of our individual consciousness we begin to solve our problems at their point of origin, which is within ourselves.  We find the inner security which comes from knowing that God’s ideas in us are now giving us correct instruction in the way we should go.

I have faith that within me is the Presence of God as pure Mind. I have faith that this inner Christ is now victorious over all the problems facing me this day and this week.  I let go of all human will.  I believe that God has prepared for me increased good in every department of my life.  I accept this good, and rejoice in it.  I am victorious, undaunted.  I go forth to handle the affairs of my life with wisdom and love.  Nothing can stop the action of God from taking place in my experience, for I love God and know His inner Presence.  I am poised, confident, and sure, for I am established in unlimited good.  This is the truth and I declare it. 

FEBRUARY 3   

I AM SECURE FOR I AM IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IS IN ME   

He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  Psalm 1:3

The omnipresence, omniscience, omnipotence and Omniaction of God as Infinite Mind are the security of man. These eternal verities sustain us at every instant and in every place.  They are ours in days of good cheer; they are ours in times of despair.  They are never lost; they are merely forgotten in our confusion.  We are not under the law of material problems and world beliefs.  We are under the Law of the Spirit which maintains us in freedom and peace.  All that God is, is around us and within us, and is eternally asking of us that we recognize It.  Jesus had the capacity to recognize God where those around him were recognizing evil.  We, too, must see the possibility of God, rather than the impossibilities that the world believes.  Our security lies in this ability to know Truth regardless of conditions, and Love regardless of hurts.

All that God is, is now alive in my world, my body and my mind.  This Presence and Power is real to me this day, and I rest in Its eternal embrace.  I am secure for His Mind thinks through me, and His Love enfolds me.  I am not afraid of any negative situation, for I know that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.  Nothing can disturb me, for Divine Order is now established in my mind and perfect Peace now fills my heart.  There are no impossibilities today, for God is my eternal possibility of greater good, greater love and greater health.   

FEBRUARY 2   

I GIVE THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYER   

His delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  Psalm 1:2

The Law of Mind never fails.  Even when It delivers to us the things and conditions we do not like, It has still functioned perfectly.  Our use of It determines our experience, and wise is the man who only thinks rightly.  Prayer scientifically understood, is a statement of Spiritual Fact.  It convinces us that good alone is true, and right alone is victorious.  As we are convinced of these facts, the results are brought into our lives by the Law of Life.  The Psalmist advises us to delight in the Law of the Lord, which is the Law of Mind.  He suggests that we think about this Law both day and night.  We may have what we want, but we must think it definitely and continuously, in order to have it made manifest.  Thanksgiving in prayer is vital, for it makes us believe that we already have our good.  When the idea is established within us, it then takes form around us.

I give thanks that there is a perfect Law of Mind, and that I am able to use it.  God responds to me as I respond to Him. I now turn to the indwelling Spirit and affirm Its presence.  I know that every true desire of my heart is being established unto me today.  I place these desires in the Law of Good, and rejoice that Its perfect action is now taking place in me, around me, and through me.  All this day I remind myself that my demonstrations already are made.  I give thanks in advance for the answers to my prayers.  My whole being is open and receptive to that good which is now arriving on my doorstep.  I rest in the Law and meditate upon Its accuracy.

FEBRUARY 1   

I AM ESTABLISHED IN RIGHT THINKING, AND NO ONE CAN CONFUSE ME THIS DAY   

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.  Psalm 1:1

The “ungodly” are those who perceive, accept and describe evil.  Unfortunately there are many people whom we meet each day who are in such states of consciousness.  Unless we are exceptionally careful of the ideas accepted by us, we shall let a few false ones slip into the back corners of our mind.  Gradually this infiltration makes an impression, and we become discouraged and feel that all men are out to defraud us.  As students of Truth, we know that this is not true, and that we must perceive the Truth operating through our fellowman.  We are faced with the necessity of finding God in man, for people around us are born of the Mind and Love of God that we are, and our knowledge of this will set us free from any negation that comes our way.  Our offices, homes and activities are filled with the sons and daughters of God.  We must do all that we can to actually know and experience this.

Because I believe that God is omnipresent as Life, Love and Wisdom, I now see these spiritual qualities alive in everyone with whom I live and work.  Every individual in my world is a son of God, a creative expression of Divine Love.  Each one offers to me only that which is good, creative and true.  All else is as nothing to me, for I know that I am established in a perfect Mind, where all is order, peace and right action.  There is no confusion, for God is the eternal Peace of my soul.  I see this within myself, and I seek this same Peace within my fellowman. God within me, God within each one I meet this day.  All is good in my world.     

JANUARY 31 

I RELEASE EVERY TENSION OF MIND AND BODY

Release and ye be relaxed.  Luke 6:37

Today I release all thoughts of fear from my mind.  Today I lay down the burden of carrying the load of responsibility for life for myself or for others.  Today I relax all sense of strain.  I remember that Emerson said “The universe remains to heart unhurt”; that Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled.”  Therefore, I lay all trouble aside, seeking to look through it, beyond it, above it; to detach it from the realm of Reality, to separate it from any consciousness that it belongs to me or to anyone else, regardless of what any problem of the moment seems to be.

Today I proclaim my divine inheritance.  I am rich with the riches of God.  I am strong with the power of God.  I am guided by the wisdom of God.  I am held in the goodness of God.  I arise and return unto my Father’s house.  Knowing that the Law of God operates through my word, that is, through my thought or faith, upon my expectancy and acceptance I speak my word.

I align myself with the powers of goodness and of right action.  I abide in perfect and complete faith in God as my ever-present good.  I take up no arms to fight, realizing that light is immune to darkness, that the night has no power over the day, that dawn dissipates the shadows of midnight.  I turn my attention to the Light Eternal, without struggle, realizing that the Light, shining through the dark places of my consciousness, will dissipate them and that I shall walk in the Light in which there is no darkness.  Not only shall I walk in this Light, I shall radiate it.  I shall impart it to others.  I shall remember the saying, “Let your light so shine before men that they, seeing your good works, shall glorify your Father which art in heaven.”  I shall remember that the Father which art in heaven is in that heaven which is within me.
