DECEMBER 6   

THE IDEA I NEED NOW APPEARS

To attain this subtle realization, you must completely cut off the way of thinking.

Mumonkan 1

I am the creation of an all-knowing Mind, an Infinite Love and a Divine Law of action.  As a mother feeds her child, so does this Holy Wisdom nourish my consciousness.  Forever within me is all that I shall ever need.  I seek without no more, for God in the center of me is my unfailing supply.    All Mind is given unto me.  All Power is mine to distribute in creative ways.  All Love is asking me to release It unto my fellowman.  From this Center within me I draw the riches of the Kingdom of heaven.  I am the richest person there is, for all of God is offering Itself to me in consciousness.  I rejoice in my capacity to receive greatness.

What I need to know at this instant, Mind gives to me.  The idea I need is now active within me.  I draw from my own Divine Center the wisdom to handle my affairs.  I do not question, I know.  I do not seek, for I have found.  God leads me with His ideas into success in all my ways.  Where I am the Mind of Truth is.  The Idea I select, the Law will execute instantly.  The new, the fresh and the different offer themselves to me now. I select new ideas, and I have new experiences.  Weary of negatives, I select positives.  The night of false conclusions is over, for the dawn of clear thinking has come upon me.  I am prospered by Infinite Spirit, and I am made glad by absolute Joy.

Quickened by the One Mind, I freely use Its Ideas.  Now, I know what to do, how to do it, and when it should be done.  No more doubts, for the certainty of God’s inspiration is revealed me.  This is my hour of right decision followed by right action. The portals of my thought are open to Truth and ideas of God enter my consciousness.  My way is easy and my burden is light, for I am inspired at every instant.  Decisions are clear, and my authority is of god.  All that I can ever use is mine now.  All this is good, and all this is true.  Mind revealing Itself in me is my security.  For complete inspiration at every moment, I rejoice and give thanks.  I have every idea I need at the instant of time that I need it.  God’s action in me is wonderful.  

DECEMBER 5   

I RESPECT THE HEALTH IN MY BODY

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.

Jeremiah 30:17

My health is not self-created, for God is the health of man.  This health is worthy of my respect.  Only that which I respect do I value and handle with care.  My body is a spiritual vehicle through which God’s Life flows.  God’s unlimited health maintains it in strength, vitality and ease of action.  My thought definitely affects my health, and my spiritual responsibility demands that I stay positive and creative. As all illness and fatigue originate in my mind, I now eliminate their causes.  Every spiritual thought of mine helps the body to remain sound and whole.  Such thoughts I have with ease.

No more fear and no more worry for me.  I know their destructive actions, and I refuse to adulterate God’s Health in my body with such errors.  I must not impede the health and vitality which God has planned for me.  No hate is worth the toll it takes in my tissues.  No anger is worth the destruction it causes in my body.  What God made I use with all the wisdom I have and can claim.  As I respect my body and declare that God abides within it, I feel an upsurge of life.  Strength and power become my tools to use for right activities.  All fatigue disappears and I do easily whatever needs my attention.  God responds to me with all possibility, because I have rightly used His Life within me.

The Divine Pattern of my health is now accepted by me.  This includes a rich sense of well-being all the days of my life.  I expect my body to react with ease, as my thinking acts with wisdom.  Letting go of all beliefs in sickness, I never again experience disease.  Even the slightest cold will be no more, for I now see God as my health.   I respect the Divine enough that I dedicate my thinking to positives.  I rejoice in my healthy body, because it indicates my healthy thinking. Today I am alive with health, vitality and the power of accomplishment.  I eat with wisdom, rest with wisdom.  I think only those thoughts which maintain me in health.  I am alive now with the permanent and perfect Health of the Spirit.

DECEMBER 4   

LIFE MAKES ME CONSCIOUS OF MY RESPONSIBILITY

O ye who believe!  You have charge over your own souls.

The Koran

The Creative Process which gave me life expects me to use it rightly.  My life is not of my own making, it has a destiny and a purpose.  I turn confidently to the Source of my being and let It reveal why I am here and what It has planned for me to do. The Life which gave me birth must know how to produce in me and through me what it has in Mind. I am not an accident of birth.  My appearance in these times is part of a Divine Plan and a Divine Design.  In my present world, right where I am, I have a mission and a purpose.  I now let the Mind which created me out of Itself reveal to me my purpose and what I should do today.  In the minutest details of today I shall fulfill the reason for my being.

I accept my responsibility to think rightly about myself, my fellowman and the world in which I live.  Within me great ideas are being born, and I let them manifest in my mind, body and affairs.  I do not pollute them with fear or doubt.  I see them as Divine in origin and possible in expression.  Coming from God they move through me into form.  I behold my fellowman as free, and I no longer impose my viewpoints upon him.  I know that God in him will lead him into right ways of success and happiness.  I have no condemnation for the world in which I live.  God made it, and knows how to operate it.  I live in the world with ease rejoicing in the good it has for me.

There is so much that is heavenly and perfect in my life.  I see this, believe this and increase this.  As I accept the responsibility to act and react as a spiritual being, I find all life co-operating with me.  No more strain to succeed, no more trying to make things happen.  My only duty is to let the Action of God take place through me, and this I do.  My right place is always where I am, and my right work is to do the will of Him who sent me.  Freely I give my whole mind over to the Divine Wisdom and the Divine Power.   

DECEMBER 3   

THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY OUT OF TROUBLE

As the Lord is called righteous and loving, so you be righteous and loving.

Sifre Deuteronomy 85a

Jesus proved that God in man is unlimited.  I accept this and now proceed to demonstrate it.  My troubles are no longer stumbling blocks.  I accept them as challenges to prove that right thinking is the creative power of life.  As I dismiss them, the solutions appear.  Temporarily they have blinded me, but now I see through the eyes of Spirit, and the way out is clear.  As I discipline my thoughts to God’s Ideas, I am divinely led to right solutions.  No matter how great my problems may be, I dismiss them as unreal.  God wants me to be happy, and that is why I want to be happy.  I can be joyous, for Mind in me knows that my good is at hand.  No delays, no obstacles – my good is where I am and I declare it.

The way is mental, not material.  I struggle with matter, but I demonstrate with Mind.  Letting go of my struggles to change conditions, I have faith that the Spirit within me generates what I need and what I want.  Too long have I tarried in the halls of matter; I now enter the upper room of Mind Action and take my place in the world as God’s representative.  Clothed with all power and all creative possibility, I see myself as victorious.  The universe is my kingdom and I rule with authority.  Never again will a trouble torment me.  I have been resurrected out of fear into all power.  I speak this word with assurance, for I know that the Law of mind does what I direct It to do.  I have a way out, and a way upward.

The way is joyous and loving.  The solution of my problems makes me a better person.  It is easier to love my fellowman.  It is easier to be a happy person.  God acting through me transforms me, and my whole viewpoint changes.  I now see that the word “impossible” is a lie.  God’s possibility is always within me awaiting my recognition.  I am now victorious over troubles.  Life spiritualized is life simplified.  In quietness my purpose becomes clear, my Divinity takes control and troubles fade as mists before the morning sun.  The way of Truth is mine today.  There is nothing to oppose me, and all of God is working for my victory. 

DECEMBER 2   

ALL POWER IS MINE TO USE AND TO ENJOY

Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty.

I Chronicles 29:11

God known is power revealed.  The unlimited power of the Creative mind is mine to use for the increase of blessings in my world.  Such use will harm no one, and will make me a finer person, a greater instrument of the Almighty.  By my right use of the One Power I shall become what I ought to be.  I know that only through my Spirit can this power be used in right ways.  I am weary of the destruction and turmoil in my life.  I now affirm that I use the power of God for right and intelligent purposes.  I say farewell to all mistakes.  I am power, for He who made me dwells in me as power.  Using this power with wisdom and with divine direction, I cause good to appear on every hand.

The Divine Power rightly employed by me gives me joy in living.  I know that my burdens are merely indications of my refusal to let God act through me.  All weariness with everyday struggles is now dissolved, for I release the One Power with Definite intent.  I know what I am doing, and I know how to do it.  No pressures, no demands, just the right releasement of His Spirit within me in creative ways.  This is easy to do, and I love to do it.  As I see ideas unfold through the Law into new and better conditions, I stand still and praise the power of Truth.  Seeing my demonstration completed makes glad my heart.  Infinite Mind knows me as a clear channel for its operation, and power unlimited gives itself to me.  Life is wonderful.

Being the only power, there are no obstructions to its purposes.  Even I cannot block the Power of God.  It uses me as Its vehicle of distribution, and I accept the responsibility of this Birthright.  My thought determines the use I make of God’s Power.  My consciousness determines my experience.  I now decide to use power rightly.  I now create a new heaven and a new earth for myself.  I give strength and power to all.  I act as power in my world.  I change whatever needs to be changed.  God in me as power demands my right use of it, and this I do willingly.  I accept my responsibilities and I live with joyous ease because I use power rightly.

DECEMBER 1   

BEFORE ME IS A CLEAR ROAD, AND I PROCEED

When one follows unswervingly the path of virtue it is not to win advancement.

Mencius VII.B.33

The forward look is the Godward look. My heaven will never be unless I make it out of the materials of my own thinking.  Today I set my sights on Him who fashioned me in His image and after His likeness.  I stand at the door of the abundant life and I knock.  All that I seek opens to me and beckons me to Life’s fullness.  I enter into my Divine Heritage and walk with the Great and the True.  My pathway is filled with ease, for I am thinking to take me to my goal.  All of Mind urges me on, and all Power is my strength to move.  Idea after idea comes to my consciousness in right sequence at exactly the right moment. I am inspired to right action in every detail.  I walk forward in ease.

There are no obstructions in my pathway of mind.  The mistakes of yesterday are behind, and the future beckons with promise.  God is where I am, and God will always be with me.  His hand will never loose mine, nor will His love let me go.  His listening Mind tells me to not fear the forward pace.  Only good operates in me, so only greater good can be before me.  The way is clear, and I never let my doubts create detours.  I handle each doubt as it appears and declare it to be nothing.  The way is straight, the signposts are clearly marked.  Only my fears can deter me, and these I refuse to entertain.  Thinking straight, I walk in peace to my selected good.  I am pushed from behind by the Spirit, even as I am led forward by true guidance.  I walk in faith.

My decision to accept my greater freedom is a mighty power within me.  It leads me, directs me and comforts me when doubts assail.  I am undaunted by the problems I seem to face.  I have courage, for I know my Divine Self will never fail me.  Ahead of me is the royal road to good living based on Spirit and motivated by Love.  This is the day of progress; this is the day of demonstration.  I walk in the dream of accomplishment, and my dream becomes a fact.

NOVEMBER 30        

THERE IS AN INSPIRATION WITHIN ME THAT GUIDES ME ARIGHT

Purity and stillness give the correct law to all under heaven.

The Texts of Taoism

The disciple John tells us that “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”  Wonderful indeed is this conception of the union of all life, which Jesus proclaimed in the ecstasy of his illumination, “I and the Father are one.”  All cause and all effect proceed from the invisible Spirit.  Man is one with this Spirit and cannot be separated from It.  His word has power because his word is the action of God through his thought.

I now clarify my vision, purify my thought, so that it becomes a mirror reflecting inspiration direct from the secret place of the Most High, at the center of my own being.  I do this by quiet contemplation, not through strenuous effort but by learning to fast upon the affirmations of spiritual realization.  I know that I need never to break before the onslaught of any confusion that exists around me. Today I walk in the light of God’s Love.  All the creativity, all the power and all the joy that there is in the universe finds outlet through me.  There is a song in my heart, the song of the open road that leads to complete fulfillment.  And as I travel along this road with others, I find that my hand is in theirs.  I have confidence in Life, confidence in myself, because I first have confidence in God, the living Spirit.

Today I am guided and my guidance is multiplied.  I know exactly what to do and exactly how to do it.  There is an inspiration within me which governs every act, every thought, in certainty, with conviction and in peace.  I know that the key that unlocks the treasure house, the key to the Kingdom of God, is in my spiritual hand.  This is the key to the Kingdom of God’s creation, and is directly experienced by me today.       

NOVEMBER 29  

I HAVE DOMINION

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Proverbs 4:26   

I know that there is a God-Power at the center of every man’s being, a Power that knows neither lack, limitation nor fear, sickness, disquiet nor imperfection. But out of my personal experience come the negative suggestions which arise from the race consciousness.  If I permit them to, they act as a mesmeric or hypnotic power over my imagination.  They bring up arguments from every man’s experience, declaring that impoverishment and pain must necessarily accompany every man in his experience through life.

But I know that there is a Presence, a Power and a Law within me, irresistibly drawing everything into my experience which makes life worthwhile. I know that friendship, love and riches, health, harmony and happiness are mine.  I know that nothing but good can go out from me, therefore the good that I receive is but the completion of a circle – the fulfillment of my desire for all.  So, I refuse to judge according to appearances, either mental or physical, no matter what the thought says, or what the appearance seems to be.

Today I acknowledge the presence and the power of the living Spirit and I invite it to lead me into pathways of peace, of health and happiness and wholeness.  I permit the Divine Spirit to lead me into the Garden of Eden for I know that in this Garden there grows the fruit of peace and joy and happiness.  And I know that the River that waters this Garden flows from the heart of eternal love.  As I bathe in this River of Life, I permit everything to be washed away that does not belong to the Kingdom of Good. 

There is always a higher Power.  Upon this Power I rely with absolute confidence that it will never fail me.  I have dominion over all apparent evil, which is merely a belief I no longer indulge in.  I repudiate all its claims, cast out every fear accompanying the belief in it, and continuously exercise the dominion which rightfully belongs to me. 

NOVEMBER 28   

HIS LAW IS WRITTEN IN MY HEART AND I DELIGHT TO DO HIS WILL   

That in which he findeth the supreme delight which the Reason can grasp beyond the sense, wherein established he moveth not from the reality; Which having been obtained, he thinketh there is no greater gain beyond it; wherein established, he is not shaken even by heavy sorrow.

The Bhagavad-Gita            

I know that the Perfect Life of the Spirit is my life, and I now permit It to radiate through my world of thought and action – to express in my physical form.  As I relax my body, consciously and definitely – which I am able to do by mentally relaxing and dropping all strain – I feel flowing through me a vital energy, a dynamic force, a great surge of living power.  I feel immersed in and saturated by a vital Essence of Perfection, which brings me into tune with life.

Today I let God’s Life live itself through me.  I permit it to flow through me to others that heaven shall be joined with earth, that the Divine shall blend with the human, that love shall conquer fear, and a little child shall lead them.

Because my whole being is this perfect God-Life, I have nothing to fear. Every person that I meet recognizes the love and peace and wisdom and courage within me.  Each person I meet feels our common bond, knows that we are a part of the perfect Whole, harmonious centers in the great Unity of Life, and so has faith in me.  No one could wish to harm or hurt me in any way.  I, too, can know only love and understanding for my fellow beings.  I know, because I am God-like, God in expression, that every circumstance I find myself in, is right for me.  Through my consciousness of Love, which is the very Essence of God-Life, I transform any seeming imperfection into the perfect idea of my True Self.  God knows me only as a Perfect Idea, and that Perfection I now manifest.  His Law is written in my heart and I delight to do His will.

NOVEMBER 27   

I WILL FEAR NO EVIL

Are not the friends of God, those on whom no fear shall come, nor shall they be put to grief?

Today my heart is without fear, for I have implicit confidence in the good, the enduring and the true. Fear is the only thing of which to be afraid.  It is not the host encamped against us, nor the confusion around us, that we need to fear; it is the lack of confidence in the good alone which should concern us. Through inner spiritual vision, we know that evil is transitory, but good is permanent.  We know that right finally dissolves everything opposed to it.  The power of Spirit is supreme over every antagonist.  Therefore, we should cherish no fear, and when we neither fear nor hate, we come to understand the unity of life.

I put my whole trust in God.  I know that the Spirit will gently lead me and wisely counsel me. I know that the love which envelops everything flows through me to everyone, and with it there goes a confidence, a sense of joy and freedom, a buoyant enthusiasm for living, a zest for life. “For all thy ways are ways of pleasantness, and all thy paths are peace.”

I realize that fear is not Godlike, since it contradicts the Divine Presence, repudiates limitless Love and denies infinite Good.  Therefore, I know that fear is a lie, a fraud.  It is neither person, place nor thing; it is merely an impostor that I have believed in.  I have entertained it so long that it seems as if it really were something, and it attempts to make me believe that two and two are seven, that the earth is flat and that God is limited.  Today I repudiate all fear.  I renounce the belief in evil.  I enter into conscious union with the Spirit.  I accept the good as supreme, positive and absolute.  With joy I enter into the activities of the day, without regret I remember the events of yesterday, and with confidence I look forward to tomorrow, for today my heart is without fear.
