TODAY I FEEL THE ACTIVE POWER OF GOD IN EVERYTHING

May 29 2015One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  Ephesians 4:6

The key thought for our meditation today is the idea that there is an active Presence of the creative Spirit in all our affairs – not something passive, but something that is moving in and through everything we do.  We should affirm that this Divine Presence is everywhere, that It is always active in, around and through us. I USE DIVINE POWER IN PRACTICAL WAYS AND RIGHT ACTION PREVAILS IN MY AFFAIRS

May 28 2015… What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.   Mark 11:24

There could be no more explicit technique for effective prayer than this laid down by the Master himself.  We actually are to believe that we already possess the object of our desire when we ask for it.  We are to accept it even as we believe in the harvest which follows the spring planting.  Therefore, every spring should be one of hope and every harvest one of fulfillment.  We must learn to accept the good we desire and affirm its presence in our experience, here and now. EVERY PART OF MY BODY IS IN HARMONY WITH THE LIVING SPIRIT WITHIN ME

May 27 2015… I am the Lord that healeth thee.    Exodus 15:26

Spiritual mind healing has long since passed the experimental stage.  We now know that we cannot tell where the body begins and the mind leaves off, and many of us believe that the actions, organs, and functions of the physical body really are activities of the Divine Intelligence within us.  To come to realize, then, that there is One Body, which is the Body of God, and which at the same time is our own body, is to indraw a greater spirit of Life. We should daily affirm that: Continue reading “May 27, 2016”

I LIFE UP MY CUP OF ACCEPTANCE, KNOWING THE DIVINE OUTPOURING FILLS IT TO THE BRIM

May 26 2015… God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.  II Corinthians 9: 8

We lift up our cup of acceptance to the Divine Bounty when we think affirmatively and with gratitude to the Giver of all life.  Daily we should practice affirming that our cup is filled and running over, always remembering that when we affirm for ourselves we must affirm for others.  Living and letting live, giving and receiving, loving and being loved, our cup of acceptance will be filled from the horn of God’s abundance. EVERY NEGATIVE THOUGHT OR CONDITION IS ERASED FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND I WALK IN THE JOY OF EVER INCREASING GOOD

May 25 2015He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.  Psalm 91: 15, 16

This passage contains a great promise.  Not one of something that is to transpire in the future, but rather, a good that should be transpiring in the present moment in which we live – right now and right here.  Therefore we should accept this promise and its fulfillment. TODAY I LOOSE ALL CONDEMNATION; I JUDGE NOT AND I AM JUDGED ONLY BY THE LAW OF GOD

May 24 2015… forgive us our debts; as we forgive our debtors.   Matthew 6:12

When Jesus said that we should not judge lest we be judged, he was stating the action of the law of cause and effect.  If we wish a complete clearance from any sense of condemnation about ourselves, we must first be certain that we have released all condemnation of others from our own minds.  When we do this we meet others in a new light and reaching back of all judgment and criticism, establish a relationship that is within us, for God is One in all people. I DO EVERYTHING WITH RELIANCE ON THE LAW OF GOOD

May 23 2015All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.    Matthew 28:18

While Jesus said that all power was given to him in heaven and earth, at another time he said that he of himself could do nothing.  This sounds like a contradiction until we understand the subtlety of its meaning.  Jesus realized that there is but One Power and One Presence and he knew that when he surrendered himself to the Presence, that is, when he thought the thoughts of God after Him, then the Power would automatically respond to him. I FREE MYSELF FROM EVERY SENSE OF CONDEMNATION, EITHER AGAINST MYSELF OR OTHERS

May 22 2015He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness … He that loveth his brother abideth in the light … I John 2:9, 10

When John said that it is impossible for us to remain in the light while we hate someone else, he was pointing the same truth that Jesus had in mind when he said, Forgive, and you will be forgiven.  We could not expect the law of Good to operate for us alone, shutting all other out.  It is only what we share with others that really is ours.  We are so constituted that when we think evil of others or condemn them it is impossible to escape this condemnation of ourselves.  This is why Jesus said, “Judge not that ye be not judged.”  Everything that goes out comes back again.  Our thoughts and acts move in circles. THE SPIRIT WITHIN ME COMMUNES WITH EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING

May 21 2015… thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind … and … thy neighbor as thy self.    Mark 12: 30, 31

When we let the love that is within us go out to the God who is in all people and the Divine Presence that is in all things, then we are loving God with all our heart and with all our soul and mind because we are recognizing that the Spirit within us is the same Spirit that we meet in others.  This is loving our neighbors as ourselves. TODAY I PROCLAIM MY DIVINE INHERITANCE

May 20 2015Neglect not the gift that is in thee … I Timothy 4: 14

If two persons were exactly alike, one would be unnecessary in the scheme of things.  Emerson said that imitation is suicide.  The Divine Spirit never made any two things alike – no two rose bushes, no two snowflakes, no two grains of sand, and no two persons.  We are all just a little unique so that each may wear a different face, behind which is the same, the one and the only Presence, which is God.  It is right and necessary that we should be individuals.  Unity does not mean uniformity.  Unity means that everything draws its strength, its power and its ability to live from One Source.  One Life flows through everything.  This Life is never monotonous; it is forever doing new things in you and in me.
