NOVEMBER 2   

THE INFINITE LAW OF GOOD BRINGS ME COMPLETE SATISFACTION

Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Proverbs 3:10

There is a Power operating through me, a Presence inspiring, guiding and sustaining me.  Upon this Power, I place my reliance.  In this Presence, I feel myself to be an outlet of immeasurable good.  Because I am in this Divine Presence, and because It is in me, and because this Divine has all power, I know that my thought is made manifest in a perfect demonstration of health, of harmony and of success.

I know that the Creative Law of Good is infinite and has all power to accomplish.  I know Its whole desire for me is freedom and joy.  Therefore, I declare that freedom and joy are mine today.  This freedom and joy spontaneously express in my experience, and there is nothing within me that can hinder this expression.  Because this All-Good is mine, and because it constitutes the only Presence there is in the universe, I know that freedom and joy cannot be separated from me.

Realizing that the kingdom of love is at hand today, I enter into this kingdom with a song of praise, a hymn of joy.  Knowing that God is hid in everything, I reveal this Divine Presence to myself and to others, in sympathy, in love, in kindness.

I am conscious that there is an Infinite Wisdom directing me.  Whatever I should know, I shall know.  Whatever I should do, I shall do.  Whatever belongs to me must come to me.  Because of the Infinite Intelligence which is mine and which is within me now, I am compelled to recognize my good; to see more; to understand and accept and express more.  I know the Infinite Law of Good is always bringing complete satisfaction into my life.  

NOVEMBER 1   

I DWELL IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD

In my father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.

John 14:2

The Household of God is the Household of Perfection.  It is the Secret Place of the Most High.  The inmates of this Household are all Divine Beings.  Nothing can enter the consciousness of any of these inmates which contradicts the unity of Good.  Each and every member of this Household is at peace with all other members.  There is a community of peace, of understanding, of fellowship, of love and unity. 

In this Household of God – which is any man’s household who declares to be such – there is no bickering, no jealousy, and no avenue through which any littleness or meanness may operate.  It is not only a household of peace, it is a household of joy, it is a place of happiness and general contentment.  Here is warmth, color and beauty.  This earthly household symbolizes the Divine Harmony of the Kingdom of God.

No one is a stranger within this household.  Nothing is alien to it.  It is protected from all fear, from every sense of loss.  Nothing can enter it but joy, integrity and friendship.  The same good I realize belongs to everyone else.  I do not desire a good for myself which is greater than the good I desire for all people.  Neither do I deny myself the good I affirm for all others.  In this Household, the Host is God, the Living Spirit Almighty, and all who dwell in this Household are guests of the Eternal Host.

OCTOBER 31  

I AM NOT FOOLED BY EVIL, I RECOGNIZE IT ONLY TO DESTROY IT

For the evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. 

Psalm 37:9

The sole value of evil is that it shows us the point of attack.  The metaphysician attacks evil at its point of origin, which is the consciousness of the one experiencing it.  We do no avoid it, we accept its evidence, for then we know to treat it.  If we are unaware of it, then we cannot erase it.  We know that God is omnipotent, and that evil has no power to confuse us except as we believe it has.  It can be destroyed through scientific prayer, when we have perceived its presence within us.  Each attempt of error to manifest is a call to prayer.  It is the battle cry of treatment.  It is our opportunity to prove that God is all, and nothing can stop us when we are thinking Godly terms.  We, then, make specific denials and affirmations regarding its unique form, and soon it has been eliminated from our experience.  This is the better way.

I believe that God is all there really is, and that each attempt of evil to manifest in my world today is merely a call to prayer.  I deny all evil, and affirm all good.  Error is a lie and has no truth in it.  It has no basis, no plan and no constancy.  God alone is true, perfect and complete.  I now destroy all negative thinking out of my consciousness through this word of Truth.  I live in a world of good, and all is well.  God is where I am at every instant of this day, and I know that and rejoice in this.  The Peace of God is upon me.  The Love of God surrounds me.  The Joy of the Lord wells up within me.  I live, move and have my being in a perfect Mind and a perfect Presence, and all else is as nothing.     

OCTOBER 30   

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 

John 1:9

Darkness is always the symbol of ignorance, while light is the symbol of wisdom and Truth.  Darkness is always temporary, while Truth is eternal.  Our problems, which are our individual darkness, never long endure.  At the most a problem could only endure ninety to a hundred years for any of us.  But, it need not last for even a day of we can turn to the Light of Truth and find our peace.  Within each of us, there is something that is saying, “I am the light of the world, if ye will follow me, ye shall have eternal light.”  This paraphrase of one of Jesus’ great statements is true for all who will try it.  It assures us that if we make the effort to look for the good in any situation, we shall find it, and having found it, it will increase, and the evil therein will decrease.  Right where we are, God is.  In the midst of our problem is the Mind and the Idea that will solve the problem.  We must know this and act upon this promise.

I walk in the Light of Truth.  There is no darkness on my pathway, for my God is with me, and my God indwells me.  I am the Light of my own world, and I let my Light shine.  I radiate Divine Love to all I meet this day.  I speak the loving word to all I greet this day.  I know that from a center within myself there flows out through me the Light of healing.  All my affairs are now illuminated with Infinite Intelligence.  I am wise with the wisdom of Spirit.  The Light of God fills my consciousness and I know everything that I need to know instantly.  My pathway is radiant with good and I am divinely guided in all my ways.  My world is alive with God, and my body is filled with the Light of Life.

OCTOBER 29   

I AM THE MIND OF GOD IN ACTION, THEREFORE I PRODUCE ONLY GOOD

To this end was I born, and of this came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. 

John 18:37

The nature of man is the nature of God, for there cannot be two, there can be only be one.  One Mind, one Law, one Life and we are expressing It, because we are the creation of It.  As we begin to think of ourselves in heavenly terms, a new possibility arises within us.  We see that our present mind is God’s outlet.  We become aware of a Divine Destiny for each of us; an eternal impulse within us to think rightly and well.  We begin to speak as God would speak and to think as God would think.  There is only the One Mind and that Mind is our mind now.  The mind we are using to read this page is God’s Mind and we are Its activity.  “Beloved, now are we the sons of God.”  Knowing this we understand why all thought is creative, and we dedicate our thinking to right ideas.  We are known by our works, and our works betray our thoughts, therefore, we must think as the Divine Mind thinks.

There is only one Mind, God and that Mind is my mind now.  This Mind is thinking through me today, and all my thoughts are creative, producing under the Law whatever I select to think.  I choose with joy to think the thoughts of Infinite Mind.  I let larger and more loving ideas of God be the basis of all my mental work.  All limitation is now destroyed from my consciousness, for God’s Mind thinks in me and through me producing good.  I see God everywhere and in all people.  I think rightly, love greatly, and bring forth new good in myself and in all whom I meet this day.

OCTOBER 28  

I AM NOW OPEN, RECEPTIVE AND OBEDIENT TO ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR ME

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. 

I Corinthians 2:9

As students of the Science on Mind, we should expect the impossible to happen, and the unexpected to be made manifest if we keep thinking in terms of God.  The Bible has within it promises of what can happen when we let God work, and cease from our acceptance of limitation.  Lack of time, money and power are feeble excuses to the person who knows that the Mind of God is within him, and that Divine ideas are working through him.  All the plans of the human mind with its time, space and money limitations are as nothing when God’s thinking enters our consciousness.  As we link our minds with the Mind of the Universe, we start into action a liberating process which delivers us into greater good than we have ever conceived as being possible.  Unexpected good appears, greater love flows through us, and the world becomes a vital creative place once again.

I believe in the Mind of God.  I believe that this Infinite Mind is my mind now.  I know that this Mind thinks in unlimited and perfect terms. It has good for me far beyond my present human comprehension, and I now welcome God’s Idea into my consciousness.  I trust these Spiritual Ideas for I know they are for my increased good.  I open my mind and heart to all that God is.  I respond to joy, peace and new life.  I drop all my reasons for my not being able to do greater things.  I know that through the Indwelling Spirit I can accomplish more and more.  I am open, receptive and obedient to all that God has prepared for me.

OCTOBER 27 

THE HEALTH OF GOD IS MY HEALTH TODAY

Behold I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 

Jeremiah 33:6 

A full teaching of Christianity is impossible without the concept that God is the health of His People.  We believe in spiritual mind healing, because we know that Jesus proved it as the action of the Spirit indwelling us.  Health abides in us and is natural to us.  Otherwise, the teaching of the Man of Galilee is questionable, and this we cannot believe.  We are reviving primitive Christianity and as a result the sick are finding health.  This health which they find is not something created in them as a result of prayer.  It is something revealed in them for it was there awaiting the call to come forth.  This call which does the work is our faith and belief.  William James called the Truth, teaching “The Religion of Healthy Mindedness.”  This is exactly what we are announcing.  We believe that our bodily health depends upon our mental attitudes; that states of consciousness determines the health or disease of each of us.  We acknowledge God as our health.

My body is the temple of the living God.  It is divinely created and divinely maintained.  There is no lack of health in my body, for the presence of God is in every cell and function, and where God is, all is health.  This word that I speak is awakening the perfect health of Spirit in me.  My consciousness is filled with healthy thoughts about myself and my fellowman.  I am strong, vital and perfect in every way, for I am a spiritual being living in a spiritually created body that responds to my thought.  I think health, I appreciate health, I love good health.  My whole being responds to this treatment.  The health of God is my health today and forevermore.

OCTOBER 26         

I CANNOT ESCAPE HEAVEN, FOR I AM ALREADY IN IT

Whither shall I go from thy Spirit?  Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?  If I ascend unto heaven, thou art there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 

Psalm 139:7,8

To think that any person is outside of God is an absurdity.  We know that God as Infinite Mind is the only real Presence and Power there is, and all men are in It and of It.  That our material troubles prevent us from knowing this all the time is obvious, but the disciplined soul can cause heaven to appear in the midst of every problem.  When we pray, or treat a negative condition we set in process a Divine idea which brings heaven to pass at the instant.  As we recognize and affirm the omnipresence of Spirit, we are causing heaven to appear.  All evil fades as Truth is asserted by the determined Son of God.  Eternally, we live in heaven, the Presence of Pure Being, the Life Everlasting.  As we lift up our eyes unto the Truth our minds are transformed.  With a new viewpoint we look out upon our world and like God we, too, can say “Behold, it is very good,” it is heaven.

God made my world, and He called it good.  I now link my mind with the Mind of God and look out upon my world from a new viewpoint.  I see God in every person and every situation.  All negatives are now cleaned from my consciousness.  I am pure in heart and I see God everywhere.  I see only the Christ Spirit in my fellowman.  I look forward this day to the joy of living in the Kingdom of Heaven right here on earth.  My home, my church, my office are locations in Heaven, and they are filled with the atmosphere of good.  Divine Love absorbs my full attention and I release that Love to all I contact this day; I cannot escape my heaven, for I am already in it, and all is well with my soul.  

OCTOBER 25  

GOD IS THE HEALTH OF MY BODY, THE INSPIRATION OF MY MIND, AND THE GOOD OF MY UNIVERSE

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward. 

Isaiah 58:8

We believe in the Omnipresence, Omnipotence, Omniscience and Omniaction of God as Mind, Life, Truth and Beauty.  Therefore, all that we are, or ever shall be, is a part of the universal Being.  Our health is God in action.  Our consciousness is Mind in action.  Our good is the manifestation of Spirit.  If we believe this then it becomes our experience for the law of Mind produces it.  Disease falls away from the person who is thinking in Godlike terms.  Confusion melts from the thought of him whose mind is stayed on God.  The universe becomes a friendly creative atmosphere to all who love the good and live rightly with their fellowman.  Thousands have proven the truth in this way of life.  The healed, the inspired and the successful bear witness to this Truth we love, for the Law is impersonal, It works for all who co-operate with It.  We now blend with all that God is, and the demonstrations of good appear.

My health is the automatic expression of my consciousness.  No illness can hold me in its clutches, for I rise on the wings of God’s thoughts, into perfect health of body and mind.  I am inspired with the living, pulsating ideas of Spirit.  The inspiration of the Almighty is mine today.  I am led into paths of perfect activity bringing good results.  My universe is saturated with Divine Love and Order, and it returns to me the good I am now believing to be mine as a child of God.  God is the health of my body, the inspiration of my mind and the good of my universe at this moment, and all through the day.

OCTOBER 24   

TODAY, MY WORLD IS GOD’S WORLD, AND ALL IS WELL

The Lord reigneth. Let the earth rejoice; let the multitudes of isles be glad thereof. 

Psalm 97: 1

Our mental attitudes are our most priceless possessions.  No material security is actually secure, but the deep issues of our thought can make or unmake us.  Like the Psalmist of old, we should realize that our world is of God, therefore its essential nature must be good.  That which seemly opposes us in the world can be overcome and dissolved by right thinking, if our motives are right.  This universe is our field of opportunities.  It is the great laboratory in which he who knows the power of mind can work miracles.  It says unto us that we can have and become whatever we desire, providing we can establish great ideas within our subjective areas of consciousness.  To look out upon our world and expect only good from it is true spiritual living.  Then, security is assured for our own right mental attitudes will produce it.  The Intelligence that created us requires our co-operation with the laws of right thinking based on right motives.

I behold my world today as the expression of God’s Intelligence.  Everywhere I walk this day, I walk in the presence of Good.  Everyone I meet today, in business or at home, is the incarnation of Spirit.  I joyously co-operate with the good in every man.  I look out upon my world as God does and call it good.  I expect today to be a day of fulfillment.  I dedicate my thoughts to God’s Ideas and walk through His world seeing only that which is perfect, loving and beautiful.  The Glory of God fills my world and all the people in it.  I rejoice in this day, for in it shall I find more of Truth than I have ever known before.
