TITLE: “Come Forth”

THESIS: If you believe, you will see the glory of God.

SCRIPTURE: John 11:37-44 NKJV

37 And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” 38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” 40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone [d]from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

POINT #1:

TITLE: Wake Up!

THESIS: Failure to do wrong is not necessarily doing right.

SCRIPTURE: Luke 15:11-32

Then he said: “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of good that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything. “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.'”

“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this was my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

“Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’ “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’ “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'”

POINT #1:

You are essential!

POINT #2:

You are irreplaceable!

POINT #3:

You are priceless!

TITLE: How to Handle Any Crisis or Challenge

THESIS: I have unlimited, unchecked access to all that God is, all that God has, all that God provides.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 25:1-13

1“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [a]is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Sermon Title: Kingdom Key to Life – Balance

Scripture: Matthew 16:19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven”

What are the Keys to the Kingdom?

Kingdom Keys are ways of understanding that unlock the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Kingdom Keys are a theological approach to controversial issues that distinguish the Kingdom from the world and the church. The 12 Keys to the Kingdom are based on Jesus’ Parables about the Kingdom and his general teachings. Each key gives polar opposites and shows how to bring balance in our lives. These things that Jesus talked about seemed contradictory. They are not. They are extremes on a continuum.

The Kingdom Key to Life is to find your balance.

Week 1 – Our Perfect Pattern – Jesus the Christ
Day 1: Balancing Being & Birth
Day 2: Balancing Awareness & Adolescence
Day 3: Balancing Learning & Teaching
Day 4: Balancing Temptation & Truth
Day 5: Balancing Time Alone & Time with Others
Day 6: Balancing Ministry & Family
Day 7: Balancing Discipleship & FriendshipHOW?

Think, feel, speak, act and react according to the perfect pattern!
